Travel Bottle Cleaning

You have some great metal water bottles, but after a while they get a little smelly.

To hand wash your bottles you can fill about half way full with hot water and a drop of dishwashing detergent. Place the lid on your bottle and shake well for about a minute. Rinse well and turn upside down to dry.

For deeper cleaning, fill about half full with hot water and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon bleach. Place the lid on the bottle and shake well for about a minutes. Empty the bottle and wash using the above instructions.

Always store your bottles with out the lid on. This will help odors from being trapped inside.
