Sheet Storage
So I was loading our trailer the other day getting ready for the camping season when a thought struck me. I pack everything for the trailer into containers for easy storage.
I have been battling king sized bed sheets for some time. They fall over and I lose the king size pillow cases every time I turn around.
I went down to the store and found a couple of containers that were the correct size to hold my fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillow cases for all the pillows on the bed.
Now when I am ready to change the sheets I just grab a container and I have all the pieces parts that I need.
I set aside the box and when laundry is done washing I place the clean folded sheets into the box and store it back away until next time.

Container Directions
You love storing things in the pantry in the same size containers. Only problem is when you need to cook something you don't always have the directions that you need. There is a quick remedy for that.
Grab some clear plastic tape and some scissors. Carefully cut out the directions that you need and tape them to the outside of the container.
If it is something that you rotate, you can pick up some clear adhesive pockets from the local office supply store and place one on the container and just slide in the instructions required.
Recycling Egg Cartons for Christmas
Start saving up your egg cartons now. You will be needing them at Christmas. What for you ask??
Open them up and place your fragile ornaments into the egg cups. When it is full, simply close it and place it in your storage box.
Your ornaments will be more protected now, and you don’t have to worry about dropping one because it got hung up on another wrapper.
Creative Storage
You like to travel, but you know that if you take your nicer jewelry it might disappear.
This is a great tip to put your mind at ease a bit.
A great way to hide little valuables when you are on the go is in a tennis ball.
Cut about a 2 inch slit in a tennis ball.
Now when you squeeze opposing sides it will open up like a mouth.
Toss in coins, jewelry, anything small inside and release.
Now it is just an unsuspecting ball, not your valuables.
You can even use this for day to day stuff in your car.
No more loose change left in the ash tray giving a thief a reason to break in.
Simple Storage - Ice Cube Trays
Ice cube trays have ton’s of little uses around the house.
One great use is to leave one near where you change clothes.
You can place little items in it and not have to worry about them rolling off a cabinet and getting lost on the floor.
When you are done changing you can leave the items for the next day or put away where they belong.
Storing Outdoor Umbrella
You just got done cleaning your outdoor umbrella for the winter. You are ready to store it in the garage or shed, but you need to find a way to keep it clean while it is in storage.
Once again, pantyhose to the rescue! Grab an old pair of pantyhose and place the umbrella into one leg. Use the other leg to wrap around the top to secure it in place. That should help keep the bugs and dust out of the folds while it is in storage for the winter.
Storing Rolled Paper
You have extra rolls of wallpaper, wrapping paper or posters that you are trying to store. The only problem is that the edges get chewed up with movement. There is an easy way to prevent this from happening.
When your nylons get a run and they are no longer wearable, don't throw them out. Cut the legs off and the waist band.
You can insert your roll of paper into the leg, this will protect the paper all the way around from getting damaged.
I keep the waist bands and use them for large rubber bands when I need to secure something closed. I use them alot for items in the garage.
