Medium Hole Repair
You removed a picture and you notice that there is a fairly large hole in the wall where it came from.
It is a bit too large not to fill in, but you can’t afford to have someone come in and repair it.
You can easily fill the hole by getting a piece of chalk and placing it in the hole.
Now you can cut it off or break it off flush with the wall.
Unsqueaking A Squeaky Hinge
You are putting away laundry, or just closing a door, and you hear that annoying squeak of the door. It drives you crazy, but you keep forgetting to pick up some oil to lube it with.
You actually have something to fix this with right in your kitchen! Grab your bottle of dishwashing liquind and place a few drops in the hings. It works as a great lubricant and also smells great!

RE-CAULKING FIXTURES
You are starting to notice that the caulking from around your sink and tub is looking a bit yellow and sad. This is actually quite an easy fix.
Remove all of the caulking very carefully using a putty knife or like tool.
Be very careful not to scratch the surfaces.
Now wash the area thoroughly with some soapy water. Use some rubbing alcohol and thoroughly clean the whole area that will re-caulked immediately before caulking.
Your caulking will now adhere better to your surfaces and you will get longer life out of it.
