Recycling Cell Phones

If you have an old cell phone that you do not want anymore because it was hard to use, or just not what you wanted, don't get rid of it.

Even if there is no service attached to the phone, 911 will still work. You can give it to your kids to carry around, if they get into trouble you know that they can call for help if it is an emergency.

A friend of mine downloaded songs to the phone and turned it into an music player also.

Easy Packing

You have been collecting plastic shopping bags for other uses. Now is a great time to use them.

When you are packing up Christmas presents for shipping, use them to protect the items you are shipping.

They are light weight and won't add hardly anything onto your shipping costs.

RECYCLING SOAP

You are taking a bath or shower and you are having a hard time keeping hold of the soap.

Grab a sock from your single sock drawer and place the soap inside.

Now you have an instant rag with soap inside.

This also works great for putting those soap chips into that are too small to use, but too big to just throw out.

CHIPPED CUPS

If your favorite china cup got chipped, don't fret too much. You can find lots of new uses for old dishes or cups that are not quite perfect.

You can place a potted plant in the cup and place it on a windowsill or other location suited for the plant that you placed in it.

Now just turn the cup so that the chip does not show.

Now you can see the cup all the time, and your visitors will think that it is a lovely decorative piece. (If you aren't real good at growing plants, you can use some silk ones)
