Icky Iron

Your iron has some nasty build up on it, how do you clean it off easily?

Grab some baking soda and a damp sponge or damp rag. Dip the damp rag/sponge into a bit of the baking soda and gently scrub the iron using small circles.

Once you get a section done, repeat the procedure using circles in the opposite direction.

When your iron is clean, wipe the surface with a clean damp cloth to remove any baking soda residue.

To prevent further build up make sure that any spray on starch is applied lightly and allow it to soak into the fabric before your iron.
